Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour: Travel Grants

Support by ASAB in providing travel grants to participants intending to attend Behaviour 2025. Please note that these grants are targeted towards attendees from developing nations and developed nations (except the Americas). Participants must be an ASAB member or apply for membership by 1st of April 2025 to avail the travel grant (Last date for initial application of membership is 1st March 2025).

Dakshin Foundation and Centre for Ecological Sciences, IISc, Bangalore: Registration Fee Support for Indian Students and Researchers

This grant is available for Indian students and researchers, including those between degree programs (e.g., completed B.Sc. or M.Sc. but not yet enrolled in M.Sc. or Ph.D.). Support is open to both those who have already paid the registration fee and those who are yet to pay.

Application dates: 25th March 2025 to 10th April 2025.

Wild Animal Initiative
Wild Animal Initiative is offering a generous small travel grant for one individual with a strong interest in the emerging field of wild animal welfare to support their attendance to Behaviour 2025. A maximum grant of $1500 USD is available to cover registration fees and other expenses. Preference will be given to Early Career Researchers from Developing Nations.

Last date to apply is 15th May 2025.

Other potential funding options:

British Ecological Society Travel Grants

These grants allow BES members who are PhD students and recent postgraduates to present their research at ecological conferences. PhD students can sign up for 12 months of free BES membership.

Next round of travel grant applications open on May 1st and close on May 16th.
