Note: These activities are only available for participants and delegates who are attending or want to attend Behaviour 2025.

Butterfly Walk at
Ecopark Butterfly Garden

Explore thousands of colorful butterflies flying under one roof where you can release newborn butterflies into the habitat on a half day guided interactive visit to Ecopark Butterfly Garden and Pakhibitan, followed by a video show conducted by experienced guides and resource personnel from

Birdwatching at Rabindra Sarovar

Join us for a serene birdwatching walk at Rabindra Sarovar this monsoon, guided by experts from the Birdwatchers' Society! As the rains breathe life into this lush urban wetland, expect to spot a dazzling array of resident and migratory birds, from kingfishers and cormorants to elusive warblers. Heritage Walk

Discover the fascinating history of Kolkata's colonial background and explore the amalgamation of immerisve stories, stunning architechture and the city's adaptation with a choice of three fully guided walks by Immersive Trails. Each walking tour has a maximum capacity of 30 people.

Photography Walk in Kumortuli

Join ig_Calcutta for an immersive guided photography walk with expert photographers through Kumortuli, Kolkata's iconic artisan quarter, where master sculptors bring deities to life. Wander through the maze of narrow bylanes, where old-world charm meets everyday life, offering endless opportunities for street photography. Includes transportation for pick-up and drop-off from New Town to Kumortoli and a light meal.

River Cruise on the Ganges

Set sail on a mesmerizing evening river cruise along the Ganges for three unforgettable hours, soaking in the stunning views of Kolkata's illuminated skyline while gliding past historic ghats and iconic landmarks. Enjoy a delightful spread of dinner and drinks as the city's timeless charm unfolds along the riverbanks. With the gentle breeze, ambient music, and the shimmering reflections on the water, this cruise offers the perfect blend of relaxation, culture, and camaraderie with old and new friends.

*Minimum 100 people are required for this event. In case this number is not met, your money will be refunded to you shortly before the conference. So gather your friends and enjoy the serene cruise for a grand end to the conference.

Date: 30th August (post Closing Ceremony)
Duration: 3-4 hours
Inclusions: Cruise, food and drinks
Exclusions: Participants must make their own travel arrangements to reach the port (around 1 hour by car or cab from the conference venue depending on the traffic).

All social events (except River cruise on Ganges) will be held in parallel during the morning half of 28th August 2025. River cruise will be held after the closing ceremony on 30th August 2025.
